Odd Billy Todd

This is a story of a slightly challenged young man who suddenly finds himself the sole survivor in his small town after a terrible plague has swept the planet. This started as just a hobby. I don’t know where it might go now. Let me know what you think:)

  1. Hi. Really really liked Odd Billy Todd. I bought for my kindle from unlimited on Amazon. There were not as many typos as I had heard there were. I am picky, so I made a note with the right ( I hope!) word in it to help if you want to edit again. I hope you can see my notes on Amazon? Thank you for a great story.

    Sequel, Odd Billy Todd.
    Please.

    • I’m trying to. As I’ve said before, Billy was written to be finished so I tried to tie up all the loose ends before it ended. As a result I’m going to have to build a completely new story around the existing characters and situations. I’m working on an outline for it (believe me, writing a nearly 200k word novel without an outline is a recipe for disaster, lol) and if I can get a good one in place, then I ‘ll write it. Until I can, though, I’m reluctant to promise that I will do it, because unless I can write a GOOD sequel, I won’t do it at all. I won’t just throw something out there to make money. People who have supported my work for so long deserve better than that.

I’m glad you enjoyed Billy enough to want more! Thank you!

      • Maybe while you think on that you could get an audiobook. I would love to have one, I work a lot and love to read but can’t to both at the same time. So I buy audiobooks to listen too while I work. I have most of my favorite books audio editions and as this story is one of my favorites I would love one for it.

      • The publisher at Creative Texts decides what titles get an audio book. I honestly don’t know that the cost wouldn’t be prohibitive for a novel as long as Odd Billy Todd. I will however pass your comment along to CT.

      • I see. Although I would love one I understand that we dont always have control of everything and I hope that CT sees the potential in the story if not that’s ok. I can always read the book in my downtime. Thank you for replying and I wish you an even more successful upcoming year

      • Thank you! I appreciate that, and hope you have a wonderful holiday season and new year!
